You're not hiring me for a block of time- you're choosing my creative vision, technical expertise, and the experience I've developed over two decades of photographing people. Every session includes professional guidance, creative direction, and carefully crafted editing to ensure you receive portraits that you will genuinely love.
Sessions include a consultation, guided portrait session, posing & direction, a password protected online gallery with all the best professionally hand edited images for you to download & share, and printing rights of your downloads.

1 hour // $375

Booking
To secure your spot, a $100 nonrefundable retainer is required. This is credited towards your total. Clients are permitted to have one rescheduled session if the request is at least 48 hours in advance, except for sudden severe weather. After one permitted rescheduling, any further rescheduling will require an additional non-refundable fee of $100 to hold your new spot. If there is no rescheduled date within 30 days of a cancellation, you forfeit all deposits, and it cannot be applied to any future sessions.
There is a travel fee for portrait sessions outside of El Paso County, the fee varies based on the mileage from Socorro TX.
Add an additional $75 fee for
extended/multiple family units in one session.

Tips
Try to avoid neon-type colors in natural settings. Clothing that moves is always a plus for ladies, like flowy dresses, or fitted & chic works for a more modern vibe.
If one person is wearing a pattern, another person can wear a solid. You can follow this pattern with larger groups, or everyone can wear solids.
Avoid large logos. Mixing and matching neutral tones works best.
While jewelry is great, Apple watches don't look good in your photos.
Leave your phones in the car or have one bag to tote around, bulky phones and keys in your pockets aren't a good look either.
Feel free to bring things you'd like to incorporate in your session; for example, a blanket that coordinates with your color scheme, champagne or beers for engaged couples, a favorite toy or chair for a child, animals if they are well behaved, etc.
Session Info
It's important to be on time for your session. If you are running late, that will cut into your session time and we will still be done as originally planned. This is crucial when you are scheduled before sunset. Arrive ready and have your things prepared. Showing up a few minutes before our scheduled start time will help us ease into the session without rushing.
I don't recommend bringing anyone with you who will not be in the photos; unless you specifically need their help (like a bridal or graduate session with multiple items).
Sessions are held at a location of your choice. I can help recommend one based on the style or ideas that you have. Almost all sessions are done outdoors, and the best time for outdoor lighting is either in the early morning or 1-2 hours before sunset.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your gallery to be ready.
